5 rgb lpd6803-led matrix arduino controlled - 5
ow it works: it uses an arduino uno that controls the lpd6803 chips in the rgb leds, so i can set each led individually. the arduino reads text files from an sd card, i've made a program(in c#) where you can make animations and store them so the arduino can read them.

FastLED Library The FastLED library, by Daniel Garcia, allows you to many types of LED strips.
How to control 19 RGB LED strips with one arduino
Let's look through the strandtest example code. To use the library in an Arduino sketch, you'll first need to globally declare an LPD6803 object to talk to the strip. It is invoked with three variables: the number of pixels and the data and clock pins:

2/28/2016The sketch on arduino is the common Adalight sketch, it works on pc with Ambibox application, so i think it should work as well on hyperion. Anyway I installed hyperion with HyperionConf, and upload as well the hyperion json file but nothing.

I want to drive several units (boxes) filled with LPD6803 LED Modules (8-14 Led modules per box). Each unit is connected with a 70cm, unshielded and non twisted cable. I used those modules in the past without problems in my PixelInvaders project, however there are no long cables involved. Use BusPirate to upload Sketch to Arduino Ethernet
